The Library Advisory Committee plays a vital role in enhancing the effectiveness and efficiency of library services in colleges and universities. It is usually constituted to improve library operations, guide the formulation of policies, and make sure alignment with the academic goals of the institution.
The committee coordinates various aspects of library services, provides policy direction, and supports the library’s development plans. It provides as a bridge between the library, academic departments, and administration to promote a high standard of service.
