About the Department
The Department of Zoology at Adhiyaman Women’s College of Arts and Science, located in Srinivasa Nagar, Uthangarai Taluk, Krishnagiri District, was established in 2014 with 40 students and two Assistant Professors.
- Provide comprehensive knowledge of animal biology and physiology
- Develop practical skills in dissection, microscopy and field study
- Promote awareness of biodiversity, ecology and conservation
- Encourage research and higher studies in life sciences
- Prepare students for healthcare-allied and teaching careers
