The IQAC is the quality nerve-centre of Adhiyaman Arts & Science College for Women, driving continuous improvement in teaching, research, governance and student outcomes.
The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) was established as per the NAAC guidelines to sustain quality initiatives undertaken by the institution.
To develop a system for conscious, consistent and catalytic action to improve the academic and administrative performance of the institution and to promote measures for institutional functioning towards quality enhancement through internalisation of quality culture and institutionalisation of best practices.
To be a centre of excellence that inspires and sustains a quality culture across all academic, administrative and co-curricular activities of the college.
The IQAC comprises senior faculty, management representatives, alumni and stakeholders from industry and community.

Unique initiatives implemented at Adhiyaman College that distinguish our approach to quality education.
Every student is assigned a faculty mentor who monitors academic progress, personal development and career readiness throughout the course. Monthly mentoring sessions are recorded and reviewed.
Identified through internal tests, slow learners receive remedial coaching and bridge courses. Advanced learners are mentored for competitive exams (NET, TNPSC, TRB) and higher studies.
Plastic-free campus, rainwater harvesting pits, solar panels, vermicomposting, herbal garden and annual green audit ensure a sustainable and eco-friendly learning environment.
NSS, YRC and Eco Club units conduct regular village adoption programmes, health camps, literacy drives and environmental awareness campaigns in and around Uthangarai.
ICT-enabled classrooms, projectors, smart boards and online resource libraries ensure blended learning. Faculty are trained annually in digital pedagogy and e-content creation.
Annual structured feedback from students on faculty, from alumni on curriculum relevance, from employers on graduate competencies, and from parents on campus environment.
Adhiyaman Arts & Science College for Women is in the process of preparing for NAAC accreditation. The IQAC is systematically collecting, compiling and organising quality data across all seven NAAC criteria. The Self Study Report (SSR) is under preparation.
